A: The website migration service that our company is offering is free (to a certain extent). We will transfer your site(s) to our enterprise–class cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from personal experience that swapping web hosting providers can lead to lost data and undesirable network downtime. For this reason, we’ll perform all that for you for free!We have highly accomplished administrators whose principal assignment is to make sure that your web site performs precisely as it did on your old hosting platform. The administrators are well–versed in migrating custom–built sites, as well as sites that are based upon popular applications such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: There are many variables to bear in mind – the total amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That said, we do our best to implement all website migrations in a 48–hour time period. Smaller sites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We do not gather any private information. We’ll need, however, the login information for your current hosting account along with the name of the site that you need to transfer.

A: User privacy is truly one of our main concerns – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–grade SSLs. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative procedures to protect the details that we accumulate on the Internet. And we’ve also got a detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which describes the types of information that we collect.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your former hosting provider. When we are through with the transfer, your web site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will have to do is modify the name server records associated with your domain. Your site will be migrated to us without any downtime.

A: While we transfer your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will not touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Basically, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
